Today, MSNBC reported that in the Constitution it states that no member of Congress can be appointed to a federal job if that position has received a pay increase. The position of Sec of State did receive a pay raise this past January. This means that if Sen Clinton is appointed to Sec of State, Obama will be violating the Constitution. What do you think? Yes but it is easily remedied. PE Obama needs to resend the raise and let her accept the job. Then, if she needs the money, ask the new Congress to vote for a new pay raise.
I agree. I just hope the Republicans don't get despeprate and try to use that against him
