Do you feel that the Deep South is becoming isolated from the rest of the Country?

With the recent win of Sen Chambliss in GA, many are wondering if the GOP is just becoming a Deep South Party. Do you agree? Leave a comment on my Blog. Also visit http://alexanderwilson.org

Yes, we Democrats have a duty to work hard and keep that from happening. Otherwise, we may go through the second War Between the States or at least the isolation that defined and underminded the nation as a whole during that period. Every other state will progress and we'll continue to go backwards.

At least North Carolina kicked Liddy Dole to the curb and replaced her with a Democrat.

It's a shame about the tobacco-spittin Saxby. I really hoped the people of Georgia would walk up and send him packing.

We're thinking about a move to Atlanta, so it would've been a wonderful welcoming gift!

I agree with Cherie and Christopher. We did a great job in NC and we even pulled SC within 9 points. But, the south is going to have to become more progessive or else it will be left alone
